Surface Preparation

Sealant & Construction Services carries out all types of surface preparation, often used in conjunction with our floor coatings division, and regularly undertake remedial work to the surfaces of new and old concrete slabs.

We use various sizes of grinders with diamond cup wheels, including handheld grinders for intricate edge work, to remove coatings, latex and adhesives or for the re-levelling of concrete floors and high spot removal, as well as for the preparation of floors for new coatings.

Floor planers are used where slabs need to have their level reduced or for providing a 'key' for new floor coatings as well as for removing contaminations and coatings.

All these applications are done using dust extractors to ensure minimal mess and disruption.
