Risk Assessment & Method Statements

Risk Assessment & Method Statements

We provide a comprehensive pack of Risk Assessments & Method Statements for every contract, which are updated as and when site operations dictate.

Our experienced Contracts Managers often visit site prior to commencement to assess the manner in which the work should be undertaken and then assist in the preparation of the RAMS by discussing the procedures with our H&S Manager. The RAMS then form part of the pre-start sequence where our managers relay the job-specific information to the operatives, on completion of which the RAMS will be signed and a copy sent to the site manager.

Plant, Equipment & HAVS

Plant, Equipment & HAVS

The Company invests heavily in researching and obtaining plant that performs with the lowest vibration levels available. This means that not only are our operatives exposed to minimal hand-arm vibration but that maximum productivity is achieved in the undertaking of the works; this translates into greater efficiency of operations and therefore cost savings for our customers. Every item of plant we own and hire has an HAV rating which we then translate into permissible trigger-time for the health & well-being of our team.

Our in-house PAT testing facility ensures that all items of plant are regularly checked so that our operatives are safe and site breakdowns are minimised.

Occupational Health

Occupational Health

As part of our ongoing investment in, and caring approach to our employees, we utilise the services of a local specialist company to assess and monitor the health and wellbeing of our team. This ensures that any problems encountered at work or during leisure time can be quickly addressed to minimise any long-term issues for our staff.

Waste Carrier Licence
We have always believed in providing the best possible service to our clients and that sometimes includes taking away any arisings and waste materials from sites where on-site disposal is not an option.

Training

Training

We pride ourselves in our commitment to training and developing the skills of our workforce to the highest standards which helps to promote a proactive safety culture.
